It would actually make sense to change the default path to ~/y2logs.tgz. I
don't know how exactly the Qt GUI generates the file name - possibly it assures
that the file does not exist before, don't know.
You are right that that the date/time in the file name makes it harder for
attacker - but still not impossible. If you use mktemp command, you are 100%
safe - just lose the nice form of .tgz, as the file name will be tailed by
random characters.
