root@Microknoppix:~# fdisk /dev/sdd
The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 121601.
There is nothing wrong with that, but this is larger than 1024,
and could in certain setups cause problems with:
1) software that runs at boot time (e.g., old versions of LILO)
2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs
(e.g., DOS FDISK, OS/2 FDISK)

----------------------------------------
gparted does not recognize /dev/sdd which is my DriveXpert RAID 1 drive.
------------------
Pls. Find hereafter some URL's explaining the DriveXpert technology:
http://www.siliconimage.com/products/product.aspx?pid=103
http://support.asus.com/download
ref.
(Socket 775)
P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP @n
To understand this technology, you should know, that the DriveXpert-chip and
-Tool manages all RAID-activities which means, that you don't need to configure
the RAID drives. They just appear as one drive from first boot. The BIOS
setting defines that.. If I would connect the drive to the Marvell SATA
