--- Comment #6 from Mindaugas Baranauskas 2011-01-16 20:32:52 UTC ---
Today I installed openSUSE 11.4M5 and upgraded KDE to 4.6rc2.
(Now KDE4 starts and work),
and experimented with Lokalize from KDE:Distro:Factory.
It is very strange, that there is difference from starting Lokalize from menu
and from terminal:
* If I start Lokalize for first time from openSUSE MENU, I can not create any
project
neither by "Project > Create new project"
(it always crash after short appearance of configuration window,
that opens after file selection to store project;
that is different from 11.3),
nor by "Project > New project wizard"
(it do nothing as in 11.3)
* If I start Lokalize for first time from konsole,
I can not create any project by "Project > Create new project"
(it always crash after short appearance of configuration window,
that opens after file selection to store project;
that is different from 11.3),
But I can successfully create new project with "Project > New project wizard".
So, Christian, can you explain, why program behaves differently: started from
menu and started from konsole? (for "Project > Create new project")
Maybe this is openSUSE menu or .desktop file bug, not Lokalize it-self?
Of-topic, but Lokalize _crash_ bug
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=207791) exist since 2009 autumn and is
still _unconfirmed_ – so I prefer Novell Bugzilla than KDE...
Besides, I find out, that after successful project creation via "Project > New
project wizard", I can later successfully create projects via "Project > Create
new project" in same Lokalize window. (But after Lokalize restart, it crashes
every time again after going "Project > Create new project", selecting file,
but not immediately - now it crash only after I press tab other than "general"
(advanced|scrits|personal); that is also different from 11.3)
