Data loss might occur if the grace period of the UPS is too small (but this is
not the essence of this bug report).
The default configuration in '/etc/ups/upsmon.conf' will initiate system
shutdown:
# --------------------------------------------------------------------------
# SHUTDOWNCMD "<command>"
#
# upsmon runs this command when the system needs to be brought down.
#
# This should work just about everywhere ... if it doesn't, well, change it.
SHUTDOWNCMD "/sbin/shutdown -h +0"
Only if this command is changed to suspend to disk, people will be at risk:
SHUTDOWNCMD "/usr/sbin/s2disk"
I'm not sure if the above command is the preferred method of calling suspend to
disk, it's been a while since I last tested this.
