https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=663656 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=663656#c0 Summary: pxgconf sometimes hangs Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: robert.munteanu@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b8) Gecko/20101214 Firefox/4.0b8 When running Eclipse, it invokes pxgconf , presumably to retrieve system proxy information. The call sometimes hangs, with Eclipse being stalled due to that. I have attached gdb to the hanging process and the results are: (gdb) info threads * 1 Thread 0x7f2093b27720 (LWP 24127) 0x00007f2092c27678 in __poll (fds=0x619550, nfds=11, timeout=-1) at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c:83 (gdb) bt #0 0x00007f2092c27678 in __poll (fds=0x619550, nfds=11, timeout=-1) at ./sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c:83 #1 0x00007f209320afd4 in g_main_context_poll (context=0x60db90, block=1, dispatch=1, self=<value optimized out>) at gmain.c:2904 #2 g_main_context_iterate (context=0x60db90, block=1, dispatch=1, self=<value optimized out>) at gmain.c:2586 #3 0x00007f209320b8f5 in IA__g_main_loop_run (loop=0x60dc70) at gmain.c:2799 #4 0x0000000000401f2c in main (argc=16, argv=<value optimized out>) at /usr/src/debug/libproxy-0.4.3/libproxy/modules/pxgconf.cpp:183 Package information: gtk2-2.20.1-2.13.x86_64 libproxy1-config-gnome-0.4.3-1.3.x86_64 Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
