I apologize for this situation. It was caused due to a sudden change in the
setup of v8, which caused it no longer to compile correctly. I removed the
procedure that creates the correct libraries (with SONAME) to see where the
issue was. However due to time constraints I forgot to solve the real issue.
Based on this bugreport I resolved it and the situation is now :
ldd /usr/lib64/chromium/*.so | grep v8
libv8.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libv8.so.3 (0x00007fd5a791f000)
libv8.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libv8.so.3 (0x00007fd3967e9000)
libv8.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libv8.so.3 (0x00007f792d7a2000)
libv8.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libv8.so.3 (0x00007fef5a1e6000)
file /usr/lib64/libv8.so*
/usr/lib64/libv8.so: symbolic link to `libv8.so.3.0.6'
/usr/lib64/libv8.so.3: symbolic link to `libv8.so.3.0.6'
/usr/lib64/libv8.so.3.0: symbolic link to `libv8.so.3.0.6'
/usr/lib64/libv8.so.3.0.6: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1
(SYSV), dynamically linked, not stripped
objdump -p /usr/lib64/libv8.so.3.0.6 | grep SONAME
SONAME libv8.so.3
The next update from Contrib should correct the mentioned issue.
Regards
Raymond
