https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=662864 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=662864#c0 Summary: Installation from Disk Images - link to change says "Activate" even if it is already activated Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Milestone 5 of 6 Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kjetil@kilhavn.no QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; nb-NO; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 SUSE/3.6.13-3.1 Firefox/3.6.13 During installation, when reaching the installation summary/overview in graphical YaST, it is possible to switch installation from disk images on or off. Initially it is switched on (assuming the status text is correct), but the link to change it has text "Activate" instead of "Deactivate". After pressing the link the status text says it is deactivated, and the link text is still "Activate" (which now is correct if the status text is correct). I am using language Norwegian (Bokmål) and have not checked whether the error exists in other languages. If it doesn't I guess this must be reclassified as a translation error. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a new installation 2. Proceed to the installation summary/overview 3. Observe the inconsistency between status text and text in link to switch status in the section "Installation from disk images" 4. Click the link "Activate" 5. Observe that the status text is changed to say it is now deactivated, and the link text does not change. Actual Results: The installation program behaves correctly, this is just an error in the text displayed to the user. If I recall correctly this error existed since version 11.3 at least (please excuse me for not reporting it before...). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
