no, I reformatted the disk
but here's the Quiz:
I go to Yast, it tells me that kernel 2.6.37-6.1 is installed
uname -r gives me 2.6.31.12-0.2
I have 2.6.31.12-0.2 installed on another hard drive. But the KDE which shows
up is clearly the new one. As well as the "old" hard drive is not mounted, and
trying to mount it fails.
Is it possible that grup starts the "old" kernel and then starts the rest of
the system from the "new" installation?
If yes, then please tell me what to change in grub
