Looks like the mouseemu package has been dropped with openSUSE 11.2. Most
likely because the maintainer is no longer with Novell. If it would be possible
to use this tool also on other platforms than ppc/ppc64 and if anybody ever
tried this I don't know. Also I have no clue how other Linux distributions
handle this out-of-the-box. I suggest to install one of these and provide
relevant information from such a system like contents of xorg.conf.d, X logfile
and the required udev rules. So it would be possible to implement this
