https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=641646 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=641646#c0 Summary: Wine-gecko package is outdated Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dimesio@earthlink.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-0.3.1 Firefox/3.6.10 Starting with Wine 1.3.2, the version of gecko needed is 1.1.0; however, the wine-gecko packages in the Wine repositories are still for gecko 1.0.0. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Wine and Wine-gecko packages from the Wine repository 2. Create a new wineprefix Actual Results: Wine will throw up a message that html rendering is being disabled because gecko could not be found. The first time an app in Wine needs html rendering, Wine will stop to download the correct gecko version from Sourceforge. Expected Results: When the correct version of gecko is installed, there are no notices to the user, html rendering is not disabled, and nothing has to be downloaded. Your form only allowed me to select one version of openSUSE, but this affects all three that are still under support. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
