Thanks Tony for the quick reply.
I hesitate a bit about the kotd as we use mainly this computer as our main
backup system, and also main kvm virtualization server ( with 5 running windows
in it )
Just a question . can I use the kotd issue from the "official" repo here ?
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_11.3/x86_64/
( more easy to manage it with zypper & yast2 )
What bother me a bit was this two lines :
[88495.894877] general protection fault: 0000 [#1] SMP
[88495.895024] last sysfs file:
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu5/cache/index2/shared_cpu_map
[88495.895281] CPU 1
I've seen that there's trouble with usb3 before and after, but are those lines
connected, or did I face a hardware problem ?
(ps : we have the same mobo, proc ram in another 11.3 serveur, which doesn't
segfault .., but we don't use the usb3 port on that machine )
Last : If I choose to restart it with a kernel-debug flavor, is this impact a
lot performance balanced to the fact we can have a better trace ?
