https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640773 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640773#c0 Summary: Xen kernel crashing right after grub Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: jdouglas@novell.com ReportedBy: angie@nameless-host.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=390689) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=390689) Snapshot of the booted machine User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-0.3.1 Firefox/3.6.10 The machine crashes whenever the xen kernel is chosen. This does not happen at all when using a desktop / default kernel, but happens with all xen-kernel versions available from the standard installation repositories. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Xen kernel (64 bit system) Versions tried: 2.6.34.7-0.2.2, 2.6.34.7-17.1 2.Try to boot 3. Actual Results: Grub is showing up, choose Xen kernel and see how the system crashes right after unpacking the image (as far as I can see it.)
