Yeah, these are just annoying messages with no real effect. I'm guessing that
you updated from a previous release. PIIX (and a number of other modules) were
brought into the static kernel in an effort to accelerate boot times.
openSUSE 11.3 doesn't have this particular issue for two reasons. We reverted
the modularization in SLE11 SP1, before we forked off openSUSE 11.3 and forgot
to re-enable it. Also, we now have a modules.builtin file that describes which
features could be modules but are now built.
OpenSUSE 11.4 will have the static ATA and SCSI stacks again.
This report is a duplicate but the commit didn't reference the bugzilla entry,
so I'll close as FIXED instead of DUPLICATE.
