https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640041 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640041#c0 Summary: System freezes when trying to use MSM6275 3G PCMCIA Network-Card. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: HP OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: mobile-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: wiese@dopage.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.8 SUSE/7.0.522.0 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/7.0.522.0 Safari/534.8 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - DEVICE: Network controller: Option N.V. Qualcomm MSM6275 UMTS chip - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The system freezes after inserting the network controller. GNOME stops to respond to user input and only a hard reset (holding the power button down for some seconds) will reboot the system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start openSUSE 2.
