http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=630915 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=630915#c0 Summary: codelite does not declare make as a dependency Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: felipe.alvarez@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 I installed codelite for the first time today. And I wondered why my simple 'hello world' c++ program wouldn't run. Then I realised perhaps 'make' was not installed. After installing make, everything went smoothly. Make should be a dependency of codelite. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install codelite, but do not install make; or delete it. 2.try to build/run a small c++ program. it will not run successfully 3.install make. Everything works as expected Actual Results: Installation of codelite did not select make as a required dependency. My c++ program did not compile and/or run. Expected Results: I expected codelite to automatically install all the required tools for compilation. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
