I've to reopen this bug. For whatever reason, after I installed the currently
available updates, it fails again (tries to access the pcmcia cards beyond 32
bit addresses). The pcmciatools still are at version 017 (checked,
reinstalled), but they don't help anymore.
The temporary fix now again for me is to rename yenta_socket.ko to
yenta_socket.ko.disable in the /lib/modules/<version>/kernel/driver/pcmcia
directory.
I will check out which particular update causes the problem.
