--- Comment #4 from Andi N Kleen 2010-07-12 11:18:23 UTC ---
it seems lib64/ooo3/program/kdefilepicker is generally broken, I doubt it even
works in real KDE:
% /usr/lib64/ooo3/program/kdefilepicker
/usr/lib64/ooo3/program/kdefilepicker: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib64/ooo3/program/kdefilepicker: undefined symbol:
_ZN3KIO9NetAccess12lastErrorMsgE
it also fails like this in a real OO session:
20209 execve("/usr/lib64/ooo3/program/kdefilepicker", ["kdefilepicker",
"--winid", "60817964"], [/* 88 vars */]
..
20209 writev(2, [{"kdefilepicker", 13}, {": ", 2}, {"symbol lookup error", 19},
{": ", 2}, {"kdefilepicker", 13}, {": ", 2}, {"undefined symbol:
_ZN3KIO9NetAcc"..., 50}, {"", 0}, {"", 0}, {"\n", 1}], 10) = 102
20209 exit_group(127) = ?
I grepped the .sos in lib64/ooo3 and lib64/kde4 for that symbol, but it
isn't there anywhere.
I also tried moving kdefilepicker away, but OO hangs in the same way.
It seems whatever code tries to run that helper doesn't have any operable
error handling (and of course the helper itself is broken too)
