--- Comment #1 from Reinhard Max
on opensuse 11.1 I have removes Klamav and clamav because they are outdated.
It looks like our official updates are still waiting for QA approval, but you can always get the latest state of the package directly from the "security" project in the openSUSE Build Service: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_11.1/
Than I run a scan on new installed clamav 0.96.1 and have had nearly no problem, although bzip2 packages cannot be tested( opensuse problem missing bzip2-devel rpm).
Not sure if you hand-compiled it or used a non-SUSE spec file to build an RPM, but the package is called libbz2-devel on openSUSE and it is contained in the build environment of the Build Service by default, so I don't have to list it as an explicit build requirement in the spec file.
Because a antivirus system is more and more important for linux system, please please update opensuse 11.3 clamav to 0.96.1.
Whoops, I had forgotten to submit 0.96.1 to 11.3 when I prepared the security updates for the other versions a month ago. I've submitted it now, but don't know if it will still be accepted by release management, because we are close to the final release. But again, you can always find the latest packaged version on the Build Service. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
