http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=600616 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=600616#c0 Summary: postgres is compiled with sysconfdir to /usr/etc Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: claudiu@virtuamagic.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100317 SUSE/3.5.9-0.1.1 Firefox/3.5.9 When I've tried to use a global configuration file for psql command line utility. I've found, after trying to put the psqlrc file in different places, that is checked (strace of psql) in /usr/etc/psqlrc! This means that the package wasn't compiled with sysconfdir to /etc, making very UNCOMMON for opensuse to place a configuration file to /usr/etc! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: strace on psql -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
