From initial comment:
I have a Cowon iAudio S9 which works as a mass storage device but is not listed in the HAL device list. I've created an fdi file which I've put in /etc/hal/fdi/information (and restarted HAL of course) but when I plug the S9 in, it is just mounted as an drive. This worked fine in 11.1 incidentally. ------------- Also with a correct working FDI-file for HAL (from bnc#552488 comment #13) GNOME doesn't recognize the device as music player. Looks like a GNOME bug/problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
