The problem can be resolved by using jack2 instead of jack.


I tried jack2-1.9.4-18.4.x86_64.rpm and libjack2-1.9.4-18.4.x86_64.rpm 
,from the following repository:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/plater/openSUSE_11.2/

No segfault of pulse was noticed,even after heavy use of jack and pulse
daemons,for an extended period of time.
