http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584060 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584060#c0 Summary: gnome keyring daemons unmounts esata disk "randomly" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: cyberbeat@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.1 SUSE/5.0.328.0-2.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.328.0 Safari/533.1 In middle of my work my esata drive is often unmounted. This is even worse because of the kde bug, that freezes complete desktop and many kde applications, when mounting large vfat-partitions (see german thread here http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?p=1741187). I looked in /var/log/messages and found this: Feb 28 00:37:31 linux-yl0a hald: unmounted /dev/sdb1 from '/media/XXX' on behalf of uid 1000 Feb 28 00:37:31 linux-yl0a gnome-keyring-daemon[2615]: removing removable location: /media/XXX Feb 28 00:37:31 linux-yl0a gnome-keyring-daemon[2615]: no volume registered at: /media/XXX Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
