Right, the best way to do it is from a NetworkManager dispatcher script
(/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/*). The scripts there are called whenever a
device gets activated or deactivated with the interface name and "up"/"down"
respectively. All the information (IP configuration, etc) about the activated
connection is present in the script's environment. All NM connections have an
uuid, so it's possible to have different mounts/network services/firewall
settings/... depending on network the machine is connected to.
