.. or do not use NetworkManager but the old way where we already have
a dependcy on the network service. Nevertheless with changing environments
which often occurs with laptops this is a nogo.

IMHO the NFS shares could be done within the automount configuration
to avoid this. Maybe NetworkManager is able to handle such NFS shares
as network events that is if a network device becomes active the
NFS shares will mounted after this event.
