Lars Täuber
We have installed many 11.2 PV guests and not seen this problem and therefore need to understand your environment better.
Is there a step-by-step instruction anywhere on the net especially for 11.2?
Are you using vm-install or virt-manager to create this guest?
Our virt-manager starts vm-install for creating new guests. I have to admit our system was updated from opensuse 11.1 and not freshly installed.
What is your install source (Network, PXE, ISO)?
I tried the physical DVD, its iso image and a NET-x86_64.iso.
The filename for the kernel in your config looks non-standard, ("/boot/install-11.2-suse-vmlinuz-xen.x86_64") How did you set this up?
I'm not the original poster but having the same problem. (In reply to comment #4)
Please clarify whether this also happens with 11.2 (fully updated) used as host OS.
The host is up to date. But it seems the iso image contains the cause. Are there updated iso images anywhere? I was able to install a 11.1 from iso image right from within virt-manager (vm-install). But not from 11.2 iso image!
