Hi there,
we have some windows machines that behave in the same way, and my colleague
found out that all hosts seem to accept the offered address as soon as we
reconfigure our dhcrelay.
Setting DHCRELAY_OPTIONS="-a" in /etc/sysconfig/dhcrelay will cause dhclient
and dhcpcd to ignore every offered IP, but setting DHCRELAY_OPTIONS="" will
solve this problem.
This problem occurred in OpenSUSE 11.1 after some updates, in OpenSUSE 11.2 it
does not even need the update to run into trouble. There has not been any
problem in OpenSUSE 10.2 and 10.3.
If you have time please look into it - but at the moment the problem is solved
for me.
Thanks for all your time,
Angie.
