http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574515 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574515#c0 Summary: check pkg-config file (check.pc) not installed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sten@blinkenlights.nl QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 I use the Check unit-test framework for a regular autoconf "make check" target. Using standard rpm BuildRequires flags the check package gets installed. However for some reason the pkg-config file check.pc doesn't get installed. Because of this my application fails to locate the installed check libraries and headers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. submit a specfile 2. add BuildRequires: check 3. add PKG_CHECK_MODULES([CHECK], [check >= 0.9.4]) to autoconf Actual Results: Only the following pkg-config files seem to be available: + find / -name '*.pc' /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/devmapper-event.pc /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/devmapper.pc /usr/share/doc/gawk-3.1.5/README_d/README.pc Expected Results: find / -name check.pc /usr/lib/pkgconfig/check.pc -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
