But the system is trying to probe it. Referencing to the Hardware4Linux Hardware database there are several boards with VIA chipset having this modem. Mine is listet there also: http://hardware4linux.info/component/14466/ But in fact this mainboard absolutely has definitive no modem onboard. Many thanks for you help! Maybe the appropiate module could be blacklistet?
