In my case: Print Server: Netgear PS101 V1 (172.16.0.3) Client: OpenSuSE 11.2 (172.16.2.10) Printer: HP Deskjet 710C Add printer in yast, connecting directly via socket to the printer, port 9100. Test the connection and all is fine, then set the driver and save the settings, then click the "Test" button at which point nothing happens. I have re-tested on an OpenSuSE 11.1 machine using the same configuration and this works fine.
