http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566284 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566284#c0 Summary: When permission are set to secure automount requires root privilege Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Hotplug AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: tvrtko@ursulin.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091103 SUSE/3.5.5-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.5 When I set filesystem permission to secure via YaST/Local Security any optical or USB device insertion comes up with a root password dialog in order to auto-mount it. Changing permissions back to easy solves it. I don't immediately see why secure permissions should interfere with this so would classify it as a bug.
