Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091103 SUSE/3.5.5-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.5 I have a machine with 2 or somethings 3 NICs in it for testing. The machine has a Realtek 8169 (built-in), a Broadcom/tg3, and a via velocity. When using the r8169, I get hard locks under heavy load. That is another bug. When using the tg3, I get some (but not a lot) of frame errors. When using the via velocity, I get a *lot* of frame errors: RX packets:41581170 errors:122433 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:252290 This severely limits the card and causes all sorts of havoc.
