http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=564326 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=564326#c0 Summary: no variation of kdessh works Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091103 SUSE/3.5.5-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.5 Attempts to invoke kdessh all fail. Source and destination machine are both openSUSE 11.2. If invoking as the command suggests: kdessh frank konsole a dialog pops up "Ssh returned with an error. The error message is: permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive)." If one uses -u, then the results are slightly better.. and worse. An authentication dialog pops up... and then when entered the ssh "askpass" dialog pops up (again) for the password, and upon entering credentials again one is left with... nothing (except a success code indicating success). test with: kdessh localhost konsole kdessh -u $USER localhost konsole kdessh -u $USER -t localhost konsole and so on. meanwhile, ssh -X works perfectly.
