If blogd is used it simply creates its own pty/tty pair and talks to the kernel
to switch /dev/console to the new tty ... blogd reads then /dev/console, writes
a copy into its ring buffer or if writable to /var/log/boot.msg, and also puts
the messages to the old physical devices of the former /dev/console ...
This requires some resources. Now if you use ``quiet'' and/or ``fastboot''
in the kernels command line then in /etc/init.d/boot and /etc/init.d/rc
the blogd is not started to not to use this resources.
