--- Comment #45 from Tamás Németh
And with openSUSE 11.2 we're back where we started. I cannot get a working German keymap at all.
Using the NX technology seems to be a quite good workaround, however, you should use the closed source product, freely downloadable from http://nomachine.com, because FreeNX available from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/RemoteDesktop/openSUSE_11.2 handles the keyboard even worse than VNC, even after applying the workarounds from http://daniel-lange.com/archives/45-Fixing-FreeNX-NoMachine-NX-keyboard-glit... I can't even use the up/down keys with that FreeNX version. The "commercial" one works perfectly and is easy to install, but be careful! Sometimes it generates tremendous traffic, I even have to pay bandwidth penalty for my ISP, because it generated several gigabytes of traffic in a few hours on a 3D GSM modem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
