http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=557621 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=557621#c0 Summary: [KDE integration] Open menu + KDE save window cause X to hang Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kamikazow@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091016 SUSE/3.5.4-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.4 If a "Save" window (KDE one, using the integration patch by Lubos) opens while a menu is open, X no longer accepts any input -- neither mouse clicks, nor key presses. The X session has to be killed using Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. Any unsaved work is lost. This can happen accidentally, eg. when a download starts in a background tab, but it can also be reproduced manually. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get the DownloadHelper extension. 2. Navigate to a website that embeds videos. YouTube should work. 3. Download the embedded video using the DownloadHelper menu. Click on the file name of the video -- do not use the sub-menu that opens when you hover the file name. Actual Results: A "Save" window opens beneath the still open menu. Nothing accepts input commands anymore. Expected Results: At very least, it should be possible to dismiss either menu or "Save" window via an Esc press. At best the "Save" window is usable normally. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
