After instal opensuse 11.2 on my Medion Akoa mini E1210 (netbook) USB devices
are not detected when you plug-in them. On Opensuse 11.1 they works without
problema, but in 11.2 they only worked one time before rebot the system, after
that no one USB device (pendrive, external cdrom, memory stick reader...) are
detected.
I try to install the O.S. using a CD live, DVD and network, but the result were
the same, everything works fine but USB devices, after reboting the system.
The usb hardware is fine because they work correctly using live CD of other
versions of Opensuse and other distribuions of linux (and even windows)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install opensuse 11.2 (clean instalation) in Medion Akoya Mini E1200
2.USB devices work after the reboot
3.After the first reboot usb devices are not working anymore
Actual Results:
USB devices not dectect,
lsusb gives the following result
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 5986:0141 Acer, Inc
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Expected Results:
USB must work all the time
It seems that some modules are note loaded, but is just an idea.
Thanks,
