I can confirm this.
openSuSE 11.2 RC2 ( actually netinstall from factory-snapshot ) on MSI Wind
U100.
zypper updated-to-date.
The default kernel does not recongnise any usb device plugged in after boot up.
There are no usb related events shown in the dmesg output or lsusb.
The machine cannot hibernate/suspend-to-ram with usb-mouse plugged in.
(immediate wake up).
I have not yet blacklisted the uvcvideo however It is interesing that the
desktop kernel (kernel-desktop*.rpm) seems to be working correctly for most of
the time (suspend, usb). Sometimes though the usb- mouse, pendrive or hdd is
not recognised - a reboot helps.
The behaviour is not deterministic, i cannot find a pattern. (i am not using
the built in webcam, it is always disabled.)
