The binary /bin/warpclock requires a correct set /etc/localtime and
already configured /etc/sysconfig/clock as it uses the glibc functions
gmtime(3), localtime(3), and tzset(3) toghether with the line from
/etc/sysconfig/clock starting with
HWCLOCK=
this because warpclock uses clearenv() before using any glibc function
to avoid any variable which may contaminate the local time environment
like TZ, LANG, TZDIR, ...
If you like to use /sbin/hwclock you may use --systz toghether with
--localtime and --noadjfile.
Both utilities, the mkinitrd binary and the hwclock(8) program, can
do this job only once as the kernel only accept setting its internal
timezone only once.
