http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=551655 Summary: Autoindex generation for documentation via SuSEconfig.susehelp don't work (DOC_AUTOINDEX_INDICES missing in /etc/sysconfig/susehelp?) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: peter-mailbox@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 Hello, as described by /usr/share/doc/packages/susehelp/README index generation for documentation should work from the command line with the command susehelpindex, or by setting DOC_AUTOINDEX=yes in /etc/sysconfig/susehelp. But autoindexing don't work since /usr/share/doc/packages/susehelp/examples/SuSEconfig.susehelp contains the parameter DOC_AUTOINDEX_INDICES which don't exists in /etc/sysconfig/susehelp - that's what I suppose ;-) In addition, /usr/share/doc/packages/susehelp/README describes to configure the documentation server by copying SuSEconfig.susehelp from /usr/share/doc/packages/susehelp/examples to /sbin/conf.d. But there is not hint to configurate the autoindex generation. Or maybe, I haven't understood the mechanism of autoindexing the help ;-) Cheers Peter Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
