http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=551636 Summary: sesam_srv-3.0.1-171.1.1.i586 cannot be installed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: varkoly@novell.com ReportedBy: kkaempf@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Development Trying to "zypper dup" from 11.1 to 11.2RC2 "zypper in zypper" went fine, running "zypper dup" (with new zypper) results in: Problem: sesam_srv-3.0.1-171.1.1.i586 requires libsm.so, but this requirement cannot be provided deleted providers: sesam_srv-3.0.1-169.7.i586 Solution 1: keep sesam_srv-3.0.1-169.7.i586 Solution 2: break sesam_srv by ignoring some of its dependencies Apparently 11.1 had sesam_srv-3.0.1-169.7 installed and 11.2 wants to upgrade to sesam_srv-3.0.1-171.1.1 which is not possible. I have only the two http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.2/repo/{non-}oss repos enabled. Marking as critical since it blocks dist upgrade -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
