starting rescue from 64bit RC1 (or M8) DVD works fine, but trying to reboot it hangs and needs power cycle with some messages about busy /mapping/XXX_00000 and _0001 (how can I get a screen log/shot from this without digital camera ?!?)
I'm using LVM on the installed system and rescue correctly activates the VGs/LVs, but they are *not* mounted when trying to reboot. not sure if this might be the problem of "busy" whatever...
(a) the rescue system too hangs in reboot on a PC with no LVM (b) the real messages are (with some more blurb between, typos are still mine;) mount: /mounts/mp_0001: device is busy loop: can't delete device /dev/loop3 mount: /mounts/mp_0000: device is busy loop: can't delete device /dev/loop2 sending all prcesses the TERM signal /etc/init.d/rc: line 339: 2978 Killed ... (c) I guess that init.d/rc shall not get killed by SIGTERM as 11.1 resue at reboot later says "sending KILL ..." and then does the final reboot ?!? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
