http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=545591 Summary: Auto-hidden gnome-panel does not show up when desktop-effects are enabled. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 8 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: badshah400@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-1.3 Firefox/3.5.3 When desktop effects are enabled, if you auto-hide the gnome-panel the panel disappears (hides), but never shows up (it should show up when you move the mouse-pointer to the edge of the screen where the panel is hidden). Whether you log-out and login after that or whatever you can never see the panel. It requires one to disable the desktop-effects then point to the screen-edge so that the panel shows up again. No problems when the desktop-effects are disabled though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enable desktop effects, if not already enabled. 2.Right click on gnome-panel and select properties. 3.Then check the auto-hide option Actual Results: Gnome-panel auto hides, but never shows up again. Expected Results: Gnome-panel should show up after hiding, irrespective of whether desktop effects are enabled or disabled. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
