Thunderbird however since then crashes repeatedly after about 5 minutes and has to be restarted. This way the mailer is not usable anymore at all. Howto Install a 11.1 configure thunderbird with 3 mail accounts (imap in my case) fetch your mails Upgrade it to 11.2 start thunderbird => see it crash after running not longer than 5 minutes. Update: While writing this report I restarted thunderbird from the console to see if there is any relevant output available. The only output visible however is "chuller@skaro:~> thunderbird Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0.0". *** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable)."
