http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=543789 Summary: KDE Bluetooth configuration (11.2ms8) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: original_red@ovi.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009090900 SUSE/3.0.14-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.14 More of a crucial feature request really... There is no apparent way to set up bluetooth devices from the kicker - for kde newbies using bluetooth devices (like myself) this is a must. The only way at the moment to add a bluetooth keyboard/mouse is via the command line (this took me about 1/4 an hour to find), a menu entry in the kicker (probably in the configuration section) pointing to kdebluetooth-devicemanager (or whatever it is called) is needed, As I haven't actually installed 11.2ms8 (I've only run it from the LiveCD), I can't confirm that this is missing from KDE4 completely, but it is definitely missing from the LiveCD. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.boot from the KDE LiveCD 2.open the kicker 3.look for a bluetooth icon -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
