http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=539104 Summary: Encrypted installation broken Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bitdealer@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Since M7 I'm no longer able to install with an encrypted root or even create an encrypted disk in the expert partitioner cause it always says Could not set encryption. System error code is -3016 The crypt password provided could be incorrect. This worked fine with earlier milestones and I honestly fail to see how a password could be "incorrect" since I'm not trying to unlock it but to recreate it. How to reproduce: Simply try to install with fully encrypted root or try to create an encrypted disk / partition with the M7 installer.
