Deleting ~/.eclipse does not help.
As mentioned in the Redhat bugtracker this seems to have something to do with
the browser used in the welcome screen. Eclipse starts if I do that:
echo "org.eclipse.ui/showIntro=false" > /tmp/noWelcomeScreen.ini
eclipse -pluginCustomization /tmp/noWelcomeScreen.ini
(But it then crashes, when I click on Help -> Welcome)
I'm running openSUSE 11.1, but I have updated Firefox. So I have installed
mozilla-xulrunner191-1.9.1.2-1.1 from openSUSE Build Service.
