Similar to BZ 427554, but slightly different error message.

Can't seem to bring up LSI Logic 53C1030 dual U320 SCSI controller, with
drivers either built-in or modularized. System eventually boots after
several minutes of awaiting these driver timeouts.

Built a configured 2.6.27.29-0.1-pae kernel using stock .config file as a
template, with the diff below (incorporation of mpt driver into kernel
instead of trying to load modules at boot time), and results were the same.
Both SCSI channels are cabled and terminated, Channel A has 1 drive, B has
none.
System has all openSUSE software updates through 1600UTC 31Aug2009.
