http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535440 Summary: gqcam segfaults on exit Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jdelvare@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: L3 # rpm -q gqcam gqcam-0.9-75.124 If I close gqcam using the "Quit" button or the "Quit" menu item, it works fine. However, if I close it using the window manager interface (that is, click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner), I get a segfault. The bug is 100% reproducible. I'm using Xfce 4.4.3 as my window manager if it matters. gdb gives the following hints: Core was generated by `gqcam'. Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 0x0804ccde in display (camera=0x8059440) at gqcam.c:249 249 gdk_draw_rgb_image (camera->pixmap, camera->drawing_area->style->white_gc, xpos, ypos, camera->vid_win.width, camera->vid_win.height, GDK_RGB_DITHER_NORMAL, camera->pic, camera->vid_win.width*3); (gdb) bt #0 0x0804ccde in display (camera=0x8059440) at gqcam.c:249 #1 0xb7ce71b5 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb7a8b3be in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 (gdb) As this is a multi-threaded application, I admit I don't know how valuable the above stack trace is.
