http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=534370 Summary: Firefox will not exit via menu or titlebar Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sollord@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.13) Gecko/2009080200 SUSE/3.0.13-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.13 GTB5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Firefox 3.0.13 will not exit or close. I've tried using the menu drop down and clicking quit, clicking the X in the title and using crtl+Q and altf4 none of these work. I can make Firefox restart by un/installing an extension though. This is in KDE (4.3.0) and Gnome (2.24.1). Firefox is fully functional outside of it not shutting down. I did try 3.5.2 to see if it would fix the problem it does not. This problem is only in Firefox. Thunderbird and sunbird both exit correctly with no problems same for all other programs. I've removed all my extension and this did nothing to fix the problem. I also tried uninstalling Firefox, deleting my Firefox directory, and then reinstalling Firefox this also did not work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch Firefox 2.Try and close Firefox -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
