It mostly seems to affect long running, memory intensive tasks (e.g., computational chemistry calculations). Aug 25 10:17:23 krange kernel: l502.exe[6430]: segfault at 7fff966b9360 ip 000000000059d7bb sp 00007fff965f9200 error 6 in l502.exe[400000+576000] Downgrading to 2.6.27.25-0.1.1 shows the same behavior. Downgrading to 2.6.27.7-9.1 seems to fix it.
